Info regarding the SAS pilot´s strike in Norway
The strike with SAS will affect the passengers from Thursday morning 14 September if SAS and the Pilot unions doesn’t reach new collective bargain agreements.
SAS has a strong ambition to avoid a strike.
The information we have at this time, is that the strike will affect domestic routes in Norway, Intra-Scandinavian, European and Intercontinental traffic to/from Norway flown by Norwegian pilots. Some flights has already been cancelled.
Passenger holding tickets, and wants to rebook even if the flight not yet has been cancelled, are allowed to do so once (1) free of charge.
– Original ticket must be issued before 12SEP
– New travel dates within the period 12SEP17 – 31DEC17
To assist our travellers HRG has already extra staff in place with extended opening hours, and are doing our outmost to help. Our telephone responding times are affected, which we deeply apologize in this extreme situation.
HRG advice all passengers to check the status of their flight before going to the airport. Due to the situation SAS staff at the airport as well as their customer Care will be deeply affected in a strike situation.
